O.C.I.C.
Order of Christian Initiation of Children
Welcome!
We are so excited to walk alongside your family as your child takes this special next step in their faith journey.
If your child is 7 years or older and has not yet been baptized, they will participate in a program created just for them called OCIC (Order of Christian Initiation of Children).
What is OCIC?
In simple terms, OCIC is a friendly, step-by-step path designed to help older children learn about God, prayer, and the Church at a pace that fits their age. Because children 7 and older are old enough to understand and learn about their faith, this process prepares them to receive all three Sacraments of Initiation—Baptism, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation—together in one joyful celebration!
We would love to hear from you! If you have any questions, want to learn more about the process, or are ready to take the next step, please give our parish office a call at
Our team is here to answer your questions and help you get started whenever you're ready!
