Preparation for the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Year 1)
*Your child must be baptized.
*Your child must be in 2nd grade to 4th grade
*If your child is in 5th or 6th grade and has not been prepared for First Communion,

​Preparation for the ​Sacrament of the Eucharist (Year 2)
*Your child must be baptized.
*Your child must have received 1 year of Faith Formation preparation and received the sacrament of reconciliation.
 
Faith Formation is a 2 step process:
Step 1: 1st year preparation of the Sacrament of Reconciliation:
In this step the students prepare to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation; how to confess​.
 
Step 2: 2nd year of Preparation for the Sacrament of the Eucharist:
In this step, students prepare to receive the ​Sacrament of the Eucharist; First Communion.

How are children prepared to receive their sacraments at Our Lady of Fatima Faith Formation program:
We start inside the church, an adult accompanies your child (we prefer it be parents) and pray 1 decade of the rosary.

Why do we start with 1 decade of the rosary?
We start with 1 decade of the rosary because this helps the children learn basic prayers like:

1. The sign of the cross

2. The Apostles Creed

3. The Our Father

4. The Hail Mary

5. Glory Be

After praying one decade of the rosary, the children accompany their catechist to the classrooms where they will learn:

• From October to December the basics of the bible

• From February to April the Sacrament they have been enrolled in.​

​For parents after praying one decade of the rosary, we will provide a spiritual growth session.
